I wish to live deliberately.
To learn what life has to teach me,
and not, when I came to die,
realize that I have not lived or learned.
~ Henry David Thoreau
What does it mean to live deliberately?
To be deliberate is to be conscious, intentional and on purpose… therefore, living life deliberately is to live on purpose…. to be intentional in your choices and decisions and conscious of your behaviors, attitudes, and surroundings.
Life itself has lots to teach if one wants to learn, yet sadly, much of society lives in a state of non-applicability of what they are exposed (learn) and little consciousness of what they need to unlearn– completely unaware of what either truly looks like in a self-examined life.
