Learning.

What does it mean to be a learner? Who is responsible for your learning?

I would venture to say that most believe someone else, a teacher, a parent, a pastor, a counselor, anyone besides themselves, is responsible for their learning. I believe learning to be a personal responsibility. Although there are those who may aid in the understanding of a subject matter, when it comes down to it, the ultimate value of any transferred knowledge is that of the application. I believe when instructors or presenters and participants or students are all learners ~ any material presented becomes even more transferable. Transferable material is what the participant or student goes away with, it is what was presented. When presented material is applied learning has happened.

What does it mean to be a learner? Application. Who is responsible for your learning? You are.
