Take time to notice and to adjust accordingly. Don’t wait for tomorrow – tomorrow will take care of itself. You are accountable for who, how, and where you are today! Be in the now.
Too many times in my life I have longed for a magic ring to spin on my finger to either speed something up (ex. travel) or slow something down (ex. days on the beach or visits with my sister.) Yet, truthfully, it is in those times, we need to have a new understanding how both have a value that needs to be appreciated not manipulated.
Appreciation of the now does not loose perspective of tomorrow. Tomorrow has its own value – but the appreciation of what is, the now, takes practice. As the world continues to pound – bigger, better, faster, sooner, what is next? when? How much? etc, Be aware! As we move though this “magic” Christmas season please take time to appreciate – learn what it means to be in the now- learn to appreciate. Appreciate who is, what is, reflect what was, with every expectation of what could be, but don’t get stuck.
Take notice of who is around you – whoever they may be, and in whatever capacity. Don’t be saddened by those who have chosen to take themselves out of your life, or those who have gone on without you, you are still here. Here for a reason! You have something yet to do! Be mindful and prayerful of what that may be… do not rule out anything. Those fleeting, silly thoughts, dreams, or quite whispers, just may be God’s way of getting your attention. In appreciation of the now is how you need to become, and remain, so God can get your attention to what He is doing… so you can join Him. Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. ~ Matthew 6:34 The Message
Take notice of what is around you – what needs to be added or what needs to be removed. It is time to reassess…. clean out and revamp.
Take notice of where you are … where do you spend most of your time? What do you do there? Are you being productive – how do you define productivity?
Take time to notice and to adjust accordingly. Don’t wait for tomorrow – tomorrow will take care of itself. You are accountable for who, how, and where you are today! Be in the now.
